As our Critical Care Intensivist, you will join a leading physician-facing organization committed to providing high-value, top-quality critical care across multiple dynamic hospital settings. This role offers an immersive opportunity to significantly impact patient outcomes in intensive care units, supported by robust administrative resources so you can focus on clinical excellence.
Each month you will split your time between Holy Cross Jordan Valley and Holy Cross Mountain Point, working 24-hour shifts with a component of 12-hour days on-site and unrestricted call during evenings and nights. You will manage complex critical care cases with strong Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support, ensuring a collaborative and efficient environment. A minimum of 13 shifts per month is required, with additional shifts offering further compensation.
To be successful in this role, you will be a board-certified Critical Care Intensivist with a deep commitment to adhering to the highest standards of medical ethics and customary practice. You'll possess exceptional clinical judgment, a collaborative spirit for teamwork, and a dedication to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
- Delivers High-Quality Patient Care and Documentation: Physicians provide superior ambulatory care, conducting examinations, services, and maintaining meticulous medical records in accordance with all policies, including those for managed care, Medicare, and Medicaid.
- Adheres to Regulatory and Ethical Standards: Physicians strictly comply with all federal and state reimbursement plans, the ethical and religious directives of sponsoring entities, and the Hospital's comprehensive policies, procedures, and medical staff bylaws, rules, and regulations.
- Engages in Quality Improvement and Peer Review: Physicians actively participate in clinical and quality improvement initiatives, contribute to physician peer review, utilization review, and serve on medical staff committees as assigned to enhance overall service delivery.
- Contributes to Operational Excellence and Professional Growth: Physicians advise on operational matters, including personnel, business oversight, and equipment evaluation, while maintaining professional competence through continuous medical education and board certification, staying abreast of the latest medical developments.
We are offering q $600,288 base salary plus incentive plan, $30,000 student loan repayment, a $44,000 sign-on bonus, $15,000 relocation assistance, CME funds, and a generous 401(k) with match.
Job Requirements
Required:
Board-eligible/Board-certified
Active or eligible license in the state of Utah
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of critical care and pulmonary care principles
Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- Prior experience in Pulmonology highly preferred

Holy Cross Hospital – Mountain Point, serving northern Utah County since 2015, is a full-service, faith-based hospital offering comprehensive "whole person care" in Lehi. The facility, equipped with a 24/7 Level 3 Emergency Department, specializes in a wide array of services including cardiology, stroke care, general surgery, orthopedics, pain management, neurosurgery, neurology, urology, radiology/imaging, and extensive women's services.
