The posted compensation range of $35.62 - $52.99 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. As our ER Nurse at CHI Williston Health, you will help people in our community during health emergencies receive immediate and stabilizing care so they can navigate critical health events with dignity and support.
Every day you will provide emergency triage, assess patient needs, and deliver critical care in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to prioritize patients based on medical necessity, perform emergency interventions such as IV starts and foley catheter insertions, aid providers with procedures, and collaborate with an experienced clinical team to stabilize patients.
To be successful in this role, you must exhibit strong critical thinking skills, teamwork, professionalism, and the ability to multitask and react quickly in high-pressure situations.
- Perform rapid and accurate triage, assessing patient health, detecting changes, and taking immediate action as necessary.
- Respond effectively to life-saving situations based on nursing standards, policies, and protocols.
- Set priorities in the plan of care, anticipating necessary personnel, supplies, and equipment.
- Work collaboratively with providers to deliver exceptional emergency care.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments in strict compliance with policies and procedures.
We are offering a $20,000 Sign-On Bonus in addition to relocation to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements
Job Requirements
Required
- Graduate of an RN nursing program.
- Licensed by the State of North Dakota Board of Nursing (RN)
- Certification for Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Certification for Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), within 6 months of start.
- Certification for Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), within 6 months of start.
- Certification for Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC), within 12 months of start.
