The posted compensation range of $34.37 - $38.82 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

As our Mental Health Tech, you will be a vital part of our psychiatric acute-adult healthcare team, providing essential patient care support under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.
Every day you will monitor patient well-being through frequent observations, meticulously record vital signs and patient activities, and assist nurses with group therapy sessions and activities of daily living.
To be successful in this role, you must maintain accuracy, prioritize tasks, and treat all colleagues, patients, and families with the utmost dignity and respect, embodying our commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical healthcare practice.
•Assist with patient/family care needs from admission to discharge
•Accurately monitor and record patient VS and intake and output and daily activities
•Assist Nurses with patient care to include Groups, Activities of daily living, as needed
•Must be able to effectively communicate with patients in crisis situations
•Assist in maintaining adequate stocks and supplies items
•Keep medical record updated, including legal requirements
Job Requirements
Required
- High School Graduate.
- Certified nursing assistant, home health aide, nursing assistant, or direct patient care experience.
- Two (2) years of behavioral health experience.
- Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
