The posted compensation range of $32.38 - $48.17 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. As our Surgical Tech at Chandler Regional Medical Center, you will help prepare the operating room and surgical team so they can successfully perform a variety of surgical procedures for patients.
Every day you will set up surgical equipment and instruments, assist the surgical team, and ensure a sterile environment. You will be expected to adapt quickly, collaborate effectively within the OR team, and contribute directly to the patient's healing process.
To be successful in this role, you must possess adaptability, a strong team-player mindset, and enthusiasm for supporting complex surgical procedures.
Dignity Health Chandler Regional Medical Center's Surgery Department, a Level One Trauma Center with 24/7 operations, features 13 state-of-the-art surgical suites in a new tower, offering diverse multi-specialty experience (Trauma, Neuro, Robotics, Orthopedics, General, GYN, Urology, Plastics/Reconstruction). We provide the latest technology, 1:1 nurse ratio, in-house anesthesia, and self-scheduling. As a Surgical Tech, your adaptability, enthusiasm, expertise in surgical procedures and sterilization are crucial in our team-oriented environment, directly impacting patient healing and outcomes. - Performs instrument room technician duties as necessary by Preparing and seting up case carts. Uses aseptic technique with sterile supplies.
- Opens sterile supplies utilizing sterile technique. Sterilizes appropriate camera, scope and cables in the Steris based on physician preferences.
- Assists nursing staff in providing patient care.
- Performs OR room turnover in an efficient manner.
- Demonstrates the ability to adapt to changing OR environment and thorough understanding of standard precautions in maintaining OR cleanliness.

Job Requirements
Required
- Minimum of four (4) years clinical experience as a surgical technologist
- High school diploma or GED
- American Heart Association BLS
Preferred
- Graduate of accredited surgical technologist program and certified as a surgical technologist plus two years clinical experience
