The posted compensation range of $18.06 - $25.51 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Pharmacy Intern – Grow Your Career While Making an Impact

As a Pharmacy Intern, you’ll work side-by-side with experienced pharmacists, building the skills and confidence needed for your future career—while directly supporting safe, high-quality patient care.
What You’ll Do
- Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, compounding, and distribution
- Utilize pharmacy automation to enhance safety and efficiency
- Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounded products (including IV admixtures)
- Manage medication inventory, including controlled substances and cycle counts
- Support narcotic distribution and maintain accurate perpetual inventories
- Conduct medication storage inspections across clinical areas
- Perform precise pharmaceutical calculations
- Respond to medication-related questions from healthcare teams and patients
- Participate in clinical and administrative pharmacy functions

P1 (Foundational Learning):
- Build core skills in medication preparation, distribution, and inventory
- Learn pharmacy automation systems and unit-dose processes

Job Requirements
Required:
- Current enrollment in an accredited College of Pharmacy
- Iowa Pharmacist Intern Registration
