The posted compensation range of $59.95 - $89.17 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

As our Market Manager, Planning Design and Construction (PDC), you will provide leadership and oversight of design and construction related activities for significant and/or multiple projects with substantial aggregate value. You will interface with Division Strategy and senior hospital leadership for capital project coordination and communication.
Every day, this position manages project objectives and ensures financial control, including project budgets, cash flow forecasting, and risk management, to ensure projects are completed with successful outcomes in quality, timeliness, and cost effectiveness. You will report directly to the Market Director and supervise multiple project managers.
To be successful in your role, you will strategically lead and oversee complex planning, design, and construction projects, managing significant capital investments while ensuring successful outcomes in quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness. You will demonstrate exceptional leadership in coordinating with Division Strategy and senior hospital leadership, meticulously controlling project finances, and effectively supervising project management teams to mitigate risks and achieve strategic objectives.
- Responsible for scheduling and managing the project delivery process for all assigned projects.
- Leads the project team in establishing scope, schedule and budget and is responsible for maintaining the objectives throughout each phase of the project. Provides internal and external project communications to ensure all team members are advised of project status.
- Responsible for coordination between construction team, consultants and facility operations.
- Monitors construction activities to ensure conformance with approved documents and specifications, regulations, codes, standards and laws that are applicable to the project.
- Maintains relationships with approving authorities at the federal, state and local level.
- Participates in negotiating fees and business decisions for project vendors in accordance with CommonSpirit Health policies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors Other in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture or and/or equivalent experience required
- 10+ years Minimum (10+) years of experience in leading project management design and construction projects
