The posted compensation range of $37.22 - $55.37 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

As our Cardiopulmonary Coordinator, you will provide oversight and supervision to staff within your designated business function. You will monitor workload and provide scheduling assignments.
Every day, you will provide support to staff when necessary to assist with patient care during peak workloads or in the event of sick calls. This involves proactive management of daily operations, ensuring optimal staffing, and stepping in to provide direct patient care when demand requires, thereby maintaining seamless and high-quality cardiopulmonary services.
To be successful in your role, you will strategically oversee staff, ensuring efficient workload management and optimized scheduling assignments. You will demonstrate exceptional leadership in supporting staff during peak periods or unforeseen staffing challenges, proactively stepping in to assist with patient care, thereby ensuring continuous high-quality cardiopulmonary services and operational efficiency.
- Provides expertise in care to all areas of the hospital and all patient populations on an independent level when required. Functions as a resource for both internal and external customers in all aspects of designated business function.
- Oversees staff and workload, respecting changing priorities in daily operations. Supervises patient care in terms of workload assignments, quality of care and utilization of resources on all shifts. Supervises planning of staff education, in services and staff meetings.
- Manages the daily operations of the designated business function to ensure compliance to all standards of practice and licensing/regulatory requirements.
- Supervises training of new employees and students and nursing personnel. Functions as a resource for both internal and external customers in all aspects of business function. Assists in coordinating services to insure appropriateness, consistency, efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of service, for all patient age groups.
- Conflict Management Understanding of how to anticipate, recognize, and deal effectively with existing or potential conflicts at the individual, group, or situation level; ability to apply this understanding appropriately to diverse situations.
- Technical Competence Demonstrates breadth and/or depth of professional/technical skills and capabilities required for position; shares knowledge; sets or contributes to the Company's direction within area of expertise.
Job Requirements
Required
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited Respiratory program
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical acute care experience as a RT
- Active license in the state of Nebraska as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
- RRT completion upon hire
- BLS and ACLS upon hire
Preferred
- One year experience in Pulmonary Rehabilitation
