The posted compensation range of $37.40 - $55.63 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

As our Manager of Assisted Living, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the licensed Assisted Living community at Mercy McMahon Terrace.
Every day, you will manage staff, budgeting and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations at Mercy McMahon Terrace. The Manager will work closely with the Administrator in the implementation of Policies and Procedures and special projects as assigned.
To be successful in this role, you will be expected to know and support the mission and values of Mercy McMahon Terrace, and to apply the Mercy McMahon Terrace philosophy while performing daily job tasks.
- Plan and implement programs that meet the social, emotional, and physical needs of the residents.
- The Manager of Assisted Living must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff, and must be able to manage and resolve conflicts.
- Oversee all private agency and private personal care activity within the licensed Assisted Living community of Mercy McMahon Terrace.
- Maintains current knowledge of HIPPA requirements to ensure privacy
- Provides emotional support and active listening to all residents and their families and promotes compassionate understanding of resident needs among all residents and staff.
- Establishes relationships and maintains regularly scheduled contact with each resident and family to ensure timely review of appropriateness of levels of care.
- Coordinates with residents, attending physicians and home health agencies, other resources and contract services as needed to provide appropriate care.
- Counsels and provides referrals to all residents and families concerning appropriate levels of care including the need to accept and add additional care and/or transfer to other facilities when necessary.
- Visits residents in the hospital or skilled nursing facility to evaluate return potential and appropriateness of care needed.
Job Requirements
Required
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience within an Assisted Living Facility or Skilled Nursing Facility setting.
- Minimum of four (4) to six (6) years of overall relevant professional experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of dedicated administrative experience.
- Basic Life Support - CPR
- First Aid (FAC)
Preferred
- Registered Nurse: CA
