The posted compensation range of $28.10 - $41.80 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

As our Supervisor, Dining Room, you will manage the daily operations of the dining area, ensuring a high standard of service and satisfaction for residents and guests. You will oversee team performance, maintain quality control, and ensure all dining protocols are followed.
Every day, you will coordinate with staff to provide prompt and courteous service, handle any operational challenges, and promote a welcoming atmosphere. You will also monitor cleanliness, safety measures, and compliance with established guidelines.
To be successful in this role, you will build on your leadership and communication skills, encouraging teamwork and attention to detail. By focusing on consistent service quality and guest satisfaction, you will help create an exceptional dining experience.
- Hiring, training and supervision of dining room staff. Manage payroll budget.
- Order wine and linens. Manage wine inventory.
- Complete meal recaps and meal counts. Track guest meals, tray charges, etc.
- Complete daily census of residents (lunch and dinner). Wait tables as needed.
- Responsible for planning and organizing of special events to include but not limited to equipment rental, seating charts, buffet management, marketing.
- Manage resident's special diet needs to assure safety compliance.
- Assure adherence to appropriate sanitation practices and cleaning schedules.
Job Requirements
Required
- High School Graduate General Studies or
- High School GED General Studies
- Experience in hotel restaurants or senior living.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
